Robert I. Rhoads Jr. Vice President, Manufacturing & Human Resources

Robert I. Rhoads, Jr. is Vice President of Manufacturing and Human Resources of Precision Medical Products, Inc., a specialized medical device manufacturing company which he co-founded in August 1997. Prior to this, he was Manufacturing Manager of Arrow Precision Products, Inc., a 1984 spin off company of Arrow International, Inc. (Arrow International, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of local Reading businessmen through the acquisition of the Arrow Products Division of Rockwell International.) Previously, Mr. Rhoads was Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer for Arrow Precision Products, Inc.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Drexel University, Philadelphia in 1990 with a major in Commerce and Engineering Sciences and dual concentration in Operations Management and Human Resources Management. He gained significant training experience in 1993 while participating in Leadership Berks, which is a Berks County Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Development Program. He went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration from Drexel in 1993 with a concentration in Operating and Production Systems.

Mr. Rhoads is an active member of the community, participating in a variety of different organizations. He serves on the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board and the Mid-Atlantic Mechatronics Advisory Council.  Mr. Rhoads is a former School Director of Governor Mifflin School District in Shillington, PA, where he continues to serve as Treasurer. He is the former chairman of the board of Threshold Rehabilitation Services located in Reading, PA.  Mr. Rhoads is also the former chairman of the Cocalico Consortium, a group of local business people serving East Cocalico Township, PA.  Mr. Rhoads is also a former board member of the Beacon House in Reading, PA.

He currently resides in Mohnton, PA with his wife, Donna and their daughter, Abigail.
