T. Jerome Holleran Chairman
T. Jerome Holleran serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Precision Medical Products, Inc., a specialized medical device manufacturing company which he co-founded in August 1997. Previously, Mr. Holleran was Chairman of Precision Medical Products, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Holleran was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Arrow Precision Products, Inc., a 1984 spin off company of Arrow International, Inc. for which he was also a co-founder, Vice President and Secretary. (Arrow International, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of local Reading businessmen through the acquisition of the Arrow Products Division of Rockwell International.) Mr. Holleran is a former director and Secretary of the Arrow International Board of Directors.
Mr. Holleran was formerly Director of business planning for the Textile Machinery Operations of Rockwell International and marketing manager of its Arrow Products Division. Prior to joining Rockwell International in 1971, Mr. Holleran was a management consultant for Booz, Allen and Hamilton in New York City where he actively consulted on a variety of multi-national firm assignments. Before joining Booz, Allen and Hamilton, Mr. Holleran performed in a variety of sales engineering and marketing management responsibilities for both RCA and the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Mr. Holleran is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned both his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and graduate degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
He is former chairman of the board of the United Way of Berks County (UWBC) and chaired its planned giving committee (Partners for the Future). Mr. Holleran is a former member of the board of directors of the Berks County Community Foundation and the Berks County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a former member of the board of trustees of Alvernia University and was chairman of its trusteeship committee. He is a former Vice President of the Berks County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and a past president of the Wyomissing Institute of Fine Arts, Sales and Marketing Executives of Reading, and Junior Achievement of Reading and Berks County.
Nationally, Mr. Holleran is a member of the board of trustees of Carnegie Mellon University and currently serves as Vice Chairman of its capital campaign committee, and is a member of both its advancement and investment committees. He is also chairman of the advisory board of the School of Music, and a member of the Entrepreneurship Advisory Council and the business board of advisors of the Tepper School of Business of the University.
He is a recipient of the Carnegie Mellon University Distinguished Alumni Award, the Cannon Distinguished Service Award of the Tepper School of Business of Carnegie Mellon University, the Wilbur Doran and Caring Awards of the United Way of Berks County, the Thun Award of the Berks County Community Foundation and the Business Hall of Fame Award of Junior Achievement. His outside interests include golf, tennis, skiing, bicycling, antiquing, art, music and travel.
